School Advisory Council

Parents are the first educators of their children and have a lot to offer in the area of school improvement.

The School Advisory Council  provides an opportunity for parents to work with school leaders to create a better schooling experience for children and families.

Typically the School Advisory Council is made up of 6 -10 members with various connections to the school, such as  parents, parishioners, staff and the Parish Priest. Some of the areas this group focuses on include: School Strategic Planning, Child Safety, School Policies and Procedures, Building and Grounds Development, Extracurricular Activities and Family School Partnerships.
