Enrolment

SFX_Logo_White_edited.png

For Prep enrolments, families are encouraged to book a Principal’s tour in Term One of the year before your child would commence at school. This is an opportunity to look around the school, meet the leadership team and see the wonderful things that St Francis Xavier has to offer. Enrolment applications can then be completed online.

It is advised to complete your application as early as possible, but no later than May 31st, as enrolment interviews will be scheduled for June and July.

Enrolment age is determined by the Department of Education, Employment and Training. To be eligible for enrolment, children must be turning  five years of age, prior to the 30th April, in their first year of schooling.

Our order of priority for enrolment has been approved by our governing body, the MACS Board. The Board requires St Francis Xavier Primary School to follow this Enrolment Policy.

Enrolment Procedure

To enrol your child at St Francis Xavier Primary School,  we ask that you complete an enrolment application form, which is available online or a paper version may be collected from the school office. If you would like an enrolment pack and application form mailed to you, please contact our school office on 9783 3424 or via the enquiry link.

When submitting the enrolment application form, we ask families to please include the following documentation:

  • Birth certificate

  • Immunisation Statement

  • Sacramental Certificates (eg: Baptismal certificate, if applicable)

School Uniform

School Uniform

At St Francis Xavier Primary School, our school uniform is an important part of who we are — it helps create a sense of belonging and pride in our school community. Students wear the Summer Uniform during Terms 1 and 4, and the Winter Uniform during Terms 2 and 3. All-black shoes are required as part of the uniform; a ‘runner’ style is perfectly acceptable, provided they are completely black. Hats must be worn outside during Terms 1 and 4 as part of our SunSmart policy. Uniforms can be purchased either in-store or online from Peninsula Uniforms and Embroidery in Carrum Downs.

You can view our school’s uniform range here.
