Seniors
The senior years of primary school are an exciting time for growth, leadership and preparation for secondary school. At St Francis Xavier, our Grade 5/6 program challenges students to take initiative, think critically and demonstrate strong leadership qualities. Students are given increasing responsibility within the school community and are encouraged to set personal learning goals.

Highlights
As students move into the Senior Years, they continue to build on the strong foundations established in the Middle Years, taking on new challenges and responsibilities with confidence. Their senior camp is a highlight, offering opportunities to strengthen friendships, develop leadership, and embrace new experiences in a supportive environment.
Students proudly represent the school in the interschool winter sport program with many also achieving success in the Basketball and Cricket Lightning Premierships, where teamwork and perseverance shine through. The leadership program plays an even greater role in the Senior Years, as students step up to mentor younger peers and contribute to school-wide initiatives. Connections with the local kinder remain an important focus, with Senior students acting as role models, sharing their learning, and fostering community links. These experiences not only celebrate their achievements but also prepare students for the transition into secondary school as confident, capable, and compassionate young leaders.
